The WWE Universe might be in store for some shocking moments at Clash in Paris.

WWE Clash in Paris is the next major Premium Live Event for the Stamford-based promotion. It is set to take place on August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France. For now, three blockbuster matches have been announced for the show.

However, much like previous WWE Premium Live Events, the fans could be in store for some shocking moments. Witnessing recent events, here are the top five betrayals that can happen at WWE Clash in Paris:

5. Dominik Mysterio & Finn Balor

Dominik Mysterio has been garnering major popularity ever since he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41.

This has led to evident tensions between him and Finn Balor over the months. The Clash in Paris PLE could see Balor strike at the perfect moment and betray Dom Dom in a significant moment to end all ties.

4. Stephanie Vaquer & Giulia

Despite Giulia becoming the WWE Women’s United States Champion, her NXT counterpart, Stephanie Vaquer, has been getting the limelight. This has been the case ever since Vaquer defeated Giuila to become a double champion.

A sense of jealousy could see Giulia cost La Primera her chance to become the Women’s Champion in her scheduled match at Clash in Paris and rekindled their feud from NXT.

3. John Cena & Cody Rhodes

John Cena and Cody Rhodes showed mutual respect for each other at the end of the 2025 edition of SummerSlam, following their title clash.

However, much like Seth Rollins did, Rhodes could have been pulling a ruse to strike at the right moment, possibly. This could see Rhodes turning on Cena at Clash in Paris in a major, shocking moment in WWE history.

2. Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre

Logan Paul has been commanding the spotlight for months now. This led to him scoring a one-on-one match against John Cena at WWE Clash in Paris.

Witnessing his rise, Paul’s new ally, Drew McIntyre, could snap and choose to end all ties with The Maverick at the PLE by attacking him and costing Paul a major match of his career.

At a poignant moment when The YEET man would be close to doing it, he could face a shocking betrayal from his own blood, Roman Reigns. The OTC could once again turn heel and target Uso, citing the rise he experienced when Reigns had his downfall since WrestleMania 41.
