Bronson Reed is currently out of action due to injury
The final episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. on December 30. It also marked the last episode on the USA Network as WWE RAW made its debut on Netflix.
Multiple announcements were made on the final show including a match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre for the debut show. The promotion also announced that John Cena will kick off his retirement tour in the debut episode.
In the final segment of the night, CM Punk and Seth Rollins came face to face and put on a show, exchanging heated words and personal jabs. The segment quickly went viral with many fans stating that it was one of the greatest promo exchanges they have seen in the WWE.
The confrontation and war of words surprisingly didn’t turn into a brawl but the hatred between the two stars was on full display. Multiple stars were mentioned during the segment including Becky Lynch and WWE’s co-founder Vince McMahon.
However, there was another superstar whose name was brought up during the heated exchange between the two bitter rivals. While berating Rollins, Punk asked how Rollins’ neck was after Bronson Reed had decimated him and he couldn’t exact his revenge while he broke his leg at WarGames.
Punk joined the OG Bloodline while Reed was the fifth member of Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline in the men’s WarGames match. The OG Bloodline emerged victorious in the clash creating some of the most viral moments of the year in the process.
Bronson Reed lauds the mic work of CM Punk & Seth Rollins
Reacting to the segment, Reed took to his X (Twitter) handle where he lauded both Punk and Rollins for their abilities on the microphone. Reed also thanked the Second City Saint for the ‘shout-out’, changing his tone Reed stated that he could take out both of them at once.
“These boys are both gods on the old microphone. Thanks for the shout-out. But. I could drop both their b*tch a**es at once!!!” Reed tweeted.
Bronson Reed suffered an injury during the aforementioned WarGames match when he attempted a splash from the top of the cage on Roman Reigns who was lying on the table. Due to Punk‘s interference Reigns narrowly avoided the impact, leaving Reed to crash through a table with startling impact.
Reed suffered a broken foot due to the impact and has undergone surgery, he is currently also out of action indefinitely. Reed was involved in a gruesome feud before Survivor Series PLE which resulted in multiple backstage brawls.
The two stars also clashed in a grudge match at the WWE Crown Jewel 2024 PLE, where Rollins emerged victorious. The feud was put on hold when Reed joined Sikoa’s Bloodline for the WarGames clash.
