The generational star passed away in July!
WWE Hall of Famer, ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away on Thursday, July 24, at the age of 71. The legend left behind a multigenerational fan base that first rallied around “Hulkamania” in the 1980s.
According to the New York Post, medical records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center indicate that Hulk Hogan passed away due to an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, which occurs when blood flow to the heart muscle is suddenly blocked.
The records also show that the WWE Hall of Famer had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition characterized by an irregular heartbeat. Additionally, he had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a type of cancer affecting white blood cells, though the specifics regarding his cancer are not fully clear.
Hogan’s battle with cancer was not publicly known, and the manner of his death has been officially ruled as natural. Hogan’s memorial service took place on August 5th, 2025, in a church located in the Tampa-Clearwater area.
While people have moved on after paying respect to the legend, Bubba the Love Sponge, who has had a turbulent friendship with Hogan, is standing by his claims about Hogan’s death, and in a recent video, he made even bolder accusations. The veteran radio host doubled down, insisting he doesn’t believe Hogan simply passed away; he believes he was killed.
Bubb the Love Sponge hints at the possibility of foul play

During a recent edition of The Bubba Army, Bubba insisted that the details surrounding Hogan’s death don’t make sense and openly claimed that someone is hiding the truth. Bubba also hinted at possible foul play.
“Somebody made a mistake and somebody’s covering up and somebody killed Hulk Hogan. That’s what you’re saying. My opinion.”
Bubba added that this was his personal belief, but he wasn’t holding back. He reminded his audience that he had voiced concerns about Hogan’s health as early as June, but was dismissed at the time.
“Now, mind you, let me pre-qualify my opinion by saying I was absolutely denounced as a nut job, as a fat ass loudmouth has been shock jock, as a guy who had a personal axe to gain with Terry when I was the only person that was giving you the information that that Terry was not doing well and that he might die.”

Bubba also noted that he had been sounding the alarm since June 18 about Hogan’s health. He said he had multiple daily conversations about the issue and even named those who dismissed his concerns at the time. Bubba listed the names, stating that they all said he was crazy, “Eric Bischoff, Brian Blair, Jimmy Hart, Nick Hogan… they all said I was crazy.”
Bubba further claimed that the warning signs are too obvious to ignore, with no autopsy, no toxicology report, and no official investigation by the county medical examiner.
Bubba points out the discrepancies
In an earlier video, Bubba even displayed Hogan’s official death certificate, highlighting that the space for the medical examiner’s case number was marked “Not Applicable.”
Bubba argued that Hogan’s cause of death, listed as acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), was certified solely by his physician, Dr. Gerald Joseph Fitzgerald Jr. He claimed this indicates that no official agency ever examined Hogan’s body.
“He could have said ‘run over by a unicorn,’ and no one would have contested it. There’s no way to confirm.”
What was the official cause of Hulk Hogan’s death?
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center show Hogan died from an acute myocardial infarction, better known as a heart attack.
