Details on Tatum Paxley's debut & alliance with Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss on WWE SmackDown (August 7, 2026)

Tatum Paxley made an emphatic debut in Philadelphia.

The main event of the August 7 edition of SmackDown after SummerSlam saw Charlotte Flair battle Jade Cargill in singles action. B-Fab and Michin were ringside for the match, consistently interfering to help Jade win.

As expected, Alexa Bliss, who was out of action before SummerSlam, courtesy of an attack by Jade & Co., returned during the match. However, Bliss wasn’t alone as former NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley also arrived to make her debut on the main roster.

Paxley leaped off the ringpost to take down B-Fab and Michin with a crossbody, while Flair capitalized to pin Cargill and win in the main event. Post-match, the trio celebrated the win together to close out the broadcast.

After the debut, a new report from False Finish has now provided more details on the former NXT Women’s North American Champion’s debut on the main roster.

Charlotte Flair pushed for Tatum Paxley’s debut

According to the report, Charlotte Flair personally pushed for Tatum Paxley to join her and Alexa Bliss on Friday Night SmackDown.

Paxley’s addition has evened the odds for Flair and Bliss, who have been feuding with Jade, Michin and B-Fab. The addition also means that the feud will go ahead as a faction battle instead of a singles clash between Jade and Flair.

Before the debut, PWInsider Elite reported that Paxley was backstage at the show. The debut marked her first appearance on WWE TV since losing to Kelani Jordan on the June 30 episode of WWE NXT.

Paxley has held the NXT Women’s title as well as the Women’s North American title on WWE‘s developmental brand, and now with her debut, she can set her sights on titles on the main roster. With Flair and Bliss by her side, Paxley will likely be featured heavily on programming.
