Top six dream matches for Lucha Bros (Penta & Rey Fenix) in WWE

The Lucha Bros reunion has opened the door to multiple dream matches.

The WWE landscape saw the arrival of The Lucha Bros this year, however, as singles competitors. Penta was assigned to RAW, while Rey Fenix chose to start his run on SmackDown.

Both superstars were on their separate paths until the AAA Alianzas in Mexico City, where were set to reunite and will now face Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano for AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20 in Guadalajara.

But Penta picked up an injury during a WWE RAW match against Solo Sikoa during the Last Time Is Now tournament.

With Lucha Bros possibly back together, here are six dream matches that can happen in WWE:

6. Fraxiom

The duo of Nathan Frazer and Axiom had cemented a place for themselves in the tag team division on SmackDown. Since arriving from NXT, Fraxiom has delivered some compelling tag matches and could put a formidable challenge to The Lucha Bros following their reunion.

5. Motor City Machine Guns

The Motor City Machine Guns immediately made an impact upon their debut last year and quickly became the WWE Tag Team Champions. With their years of experience, much like The Lucha Bros, both teams could deliver a stellar showdown for WWE’s tag division.

4. DIY

The duo of Penta and Rey Fenix could be the one to end the wrath of Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa on SmackDown. The duo is remarkable competitors, yet they have been acting like bullies. However, it could end at the hands of Lucha Bros, who could put up a great fight against them.

3. Street Profits

The Street Profits have been at the top of the tag team division in WWE for years. The decorated team has faced many challenges; however, nothing like the high-flying duo of The Lucha Bros. With both sides bringing different styles to the ring, they could produce one of the best tag bouts in WWE history.

2. AJ Styles & Dragon Lee

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are a unique team making waves as a unit on RAW. However, the rise of the reigning WWE World Tag Team Champions could be derailed by The Lucha Bros’ reunion, who could steal the titles from them following a highly compelling showdown.

1. The New Day

The New Day members, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, have completely embraced a dark side. Yet, they remain one of the top WWE teams of all time. With Rey Fenix and Penta back together, they could have one of their biggest matches as a team against The New Day, who have been showcasing their villianous side on RAW for more than a year.
