The result was important not only because it ended Fatu’s reign, but also because it highlighted the internal power struggle within the Bloodline narrative.
Logan Paul
The other WWE star to pin Fatu is ‘The Maverick’ Logan Paul. The social media megastar scored the upset victory during the February 27, 2026, episode of SmackDown.
The match determined a replacement entrant for the Men’s Elimination Chamber bout, after Jey Uso was pulled from the match due to injury. Late in the contest, Undisputed Champion Drew McIntyre interfered and struck Fatu with the title.
Paul took advantage of the moment, quickly capitalizing to score the three-count and qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
The promotion has consistently booked Fatu as a dominant enforcer capable of overwhelming opponents with brute force and surprising athleticism.
Because of that positioning, pinfall losses are used sparingly to maintain his credibility as a top-tier threat. When Fatu does lose, it usually occurs during high-stakes storyline developments involving major stars.
