Kamala Harris also has many celebrities backing her up

As the 2024 presidential campaign heats up, many celebrities are stepping into the spotlight to officially support their favored candidates.

High-profile endorsements are reshaping the political landscape, with some celebrities supporting Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, while others back former President and Republican contender Donald Trump, 78.

Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn were among the first celebrities to support the 2024 Democratic National Convention in August to show their support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, whether through musical performances, hosting, or remarks. Mindy Kaling, Eva Longoria, and, of course, Oprah gave their star power.

The California-born vice president has always had many Hollywood acquaintances; in fact, former BET CEO Reginald Hudlin’s wife Chrisette Suter introduced Harris and her ex-entertainment lawyer husband Doug Emhoff more than a decade ago.

Tinseltown’s support for Harris has skyrocketed since Joe Biden pulled out of the presidential race in late July and backed his Vice President. Beyoncé has given millions to the VP’s historic campaign in recent weeks, allowing Harris to utilize her song “Freedom” as a theme tune.

Additionally, dozens of singers, actors, and high-profile individuals have performed at rallies, organized Zoom calls, and virtual events to raise funds for the Democratic ticket, such as White Dudes for Harris, Comics for Harris, and, most recently, Swifties for Harris, which included a visit from acclaimed songstress Carole King. Taylor Swift herself has just weighed in.

But other than high-profile celebs she has got some WWE superstars endorsing her. Dave Bautista shared a get-out-the-vote message while wearing a Kamala Harris-Tim Walz tee, telling his social media fans, “Made by freedom hear.”

The WWE superstar and actor posted on Instagram, “Made my freedom heard. Voting early took me 20 mins—no excuses. Freedom isn’t something we just talk about; it’s something we act on. Do your part, get out there, and vote. Your voice matters, and this election’s too important to sit out.”
