NXT-TNA crossover continues, Kelani Jordan retains, a new member in Chase U, Fatal 4-Way is teased & much more!!!

WWE successfully hosted the June 18, 2024 episode of WWE NXT from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. With just two weeks away from WWE Heatwave 2024 PPV a number of interesting matches and segments were held targeting the PPV. Get to know what happened on this week’s WWE NXT, as we come out with the complete summary of what happened on the show.

25 Men’s WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender Battle Royal

The show began with the 25 Men’s Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE NXT Championship. Two TNA wrestlers participated in the battle royal, including Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry. Hendry had a great reception from the NXT crowd, however, he got eliminated by all the NXT stars.

Ethan Page was taken out by Oro Mensah before the match began and he didn’t appear throughout the match. In the final moments of the match, Je’Von Evans eliminated Shawn Spears to become the #1 Contender for the NXT Championship.

Ridge Holland is in Chase U

Ridge Holland finally got his Chase U shirt from Andre Chase, Duke Hudson & Thea Hail. The Good Brothers interrupted them and they went on to argue with each other.

Triple Threat Tag Team Match- Roxanne Perez & Lola Vice vs Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx & Meta-Four

Roxanne Perez confronted Lola Vice before their tag team match, where Vice explained that she had no intentions of coming after her. However, Roxanne didn’t trust her. Despite believing in each other, Roxanne Perez & Lola Vice defeated Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nxx and Meta Four. After the match, Roxanne attacked Vice, when she teased about having sights on the title.

Ethan Page on not participating in the Battle Royal

In the backstage segment, Ethan Page argued with Ava about Mensah’s attack on him before the Battle Royal. He asked Mensah to remove him from NXT. Je’Von Evans came to the room, where Evans and Page agreed to a singles match in the main event to determine the actual #1 Contender for the NXT title.

WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match- Kelani Jordan (C) vs Michin

Kelani Jordan defended her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Michin in a singles match. During the match, Jaida Parker interfered and pushed Michin from the top rope, while the referee was distracted. This made Kelani Jordan deliver the moonsault on Michin to retain the championship.

Oba Femi offered Wes Lee a title shot

Oba Femi addressed his win at the WWE NXT Battleground to retain his WWE NXT North American Championship. Wes Lee confronted him and asked for a title shot, but Lee walked away regretting it. Lee said that he is the greatest NXT North American Champion, and that’s why he has the name in the record book. Femi then agreed to give him a title shot, but this would be his final shot against the title.

Next NXT Women’s North American Championship Challenger

Kelani Jordan was confronted by Arianna Grace backstage with Ava and Robert Stone in the corner, where Grace claimed a title shot, but Jordan suggested Sol Ruca’s name. This resulted in Sol Ruca vs Arianna Grace for next week to determine the next challenger.

Ethan Page vs Je’Von Evans

Ethan Page defeated Je’Von Evans by pinfall. After the match Shawn Spears attacked Evans. Trick Williams tried to help Evans, but Page attacked him. The current scenario hints this could be a Fatal 4-Way at WWE NXT Heatwave.
