The former Women’s World Champion is out of action due to injury.
Former Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has been absent from WWE programming since June due to an injury. The other half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion took on Kairi Sane in a singles match at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw.
One of the most active superstars during the time on TV, Morgan is currently recovering from an injury. However, after a recent WrestleMania 42, fans have started to predict her potential return at the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames 2025.

After severe backlash, WWE finally decided to shoot a Mania commercial, featuring female talents. The ad featured Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton, Becky Lynch, and Iyo Sky.
Although no other WWE star was featured in the video, fans were quick to point out frames and hints that Morgan was featured in the video and was purposefully edited out to keep her return a secret.
A fan video of WWE shooting the commercials earlier also featured Morgan, which is why many fans have pointed out the shot of someone walking wearing heels and pointing to the leaked BTS footage, where Liv was wearing similar heels.
While the theory that Morgan was edited out seems to be true, as Liv was seen shooting the commercials alongside Cargill, Ripley, Stratton, and others. It still doesn’t confirm her return, as even if WWE stars are recovering from injury, they can film promotional material.
A report from last month indicated that WWE internally expects Morgan to be cleared for in-ring competition by early 2026, though there’s optimism she could make her return even earlier if her recovery keeps advancing positively.
However, fans are still hoping for Liv to return in San Diego tonight. They are also theorizing Liv returning to revive her feud with Nikki Bella, who is challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World title, or interfering in the Intercontinental title clash between John Cena and Dominik Mysterio.
