‘The Megastar’ LA Knight has one of the most devastating finishes in WWE. The Megastar’s BFT (Blunt Force Trauma) is a protected finishing move in the company, as stars on the receiving end have not been able to survive.
However, this changed at Money in the Bank 2026 in New Orleans as Knight battled Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight title. This was their second head-to-head encounter after their first one at Crown Jewel 2023.

The match saw Knight looking to capture his first WWE World title, while Reigns looked to retain the crown and remain on top of the Raw brand. Although the match started at a very slow pace, Knight soon began to take control of the match.
During a sequence, Roman Reigns went for the Spear, but Knight, out of nowhere, landed the BFT and went for the cover, looking to claim his first World title. However, Reigns managed to kick out at just two and a half.
This surprising kick-out shocked everyone as commentary noted that it is the first time someone has managed to kick out of BFT.
In the end, Reigns managed to retain the title after delivering two back-to-back Superman Punches, followed by the spear. The loss left Knight continuing his journey towards achieving the ultimate dream and hoisting the World title.
The post-match saw a massive brawl when 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) arrived to stare down Reigns from the crowd stands as the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), accompanied by Solo Sikoa, arrived behind, leading to a massive brawl backstage.
