The developmental brand has a stacked women’s division!

The women’s division on WWE SmackDown has been going through a rough patch, with a lack of contenders leaving the promotion with no option to reuse the same storylines and opponents for Champions. The multiple rematches between Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax or the Women’s Champion vs Michin are a prime example.

On the other hand, NXT’s women’s division is stacked with rising talents and established stars who would not only be a great addition to the women’s division of the Blue brand but would also help create new storylines with new contenders.

Here we take a look at four potential stars from NXT who would be a great addition to the SmackDown women’s division.

4. Blake Monroe

Mariah May, known among WWE fans as Blake Monroe, arrived in the promotion in June and has instantly established herself in the developmental brand. After all, she is a former AEW Women’s Champion, and Monroe is currently engaged in an intriguing feud with Jordynne Grace.

WWE could opt to promote Monroe to the main roster without worrying if she would fit in. She also has great on-mic skills, which would help her on the main roster.

3. Jordynne Grace

The former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace made her debut at the women’s Royal Rumble, and despite being a well-established star, Grace currently performs under the NXT banner. Grace has delivered multiple incredible matches, and while she has been unable to capture the NXT Women’s title, a promotion to the Blue brand would give her more opportunity to prove herself.

The powerhouse can be matched up against multiple women on the Blue brand and can also challenge the current Women’s United States Champion, Giulia as she already has a win over the US Champion.

2. Sol Ruca

Stars from the NXT roster sometimes get the chance to either wrestle with veterans or wrestle on the main roster. Ruca has been featured multiple times on the main roster and has wrestled with veterans. Ruca has impressed fans and insiders in the promotion; her finisher, Sol Snatcher, is also a topic of conversation, everytime her name comes up.

Ruca currently holds the Women’s NXT North American title and the WWE Speed title, joining Dominik Mysterio as the only double Champions in the promotion right now. Ruca, along with Zaria, recently defeated Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, showcasing once again that she has no problem if promoted on the main roster.

When talking about promoting NXT stars to the main roster, what better qualification to have than the NXT Women’s title? Jacy Jayne has been a staple in NXT since 2021. She currently holds the NXT Women’s title and has also held the TNA Knockouts title in the past.

Jayne’s Fatal Influence has already lost a member, as Jazmyn Nyx has opted not to re-sign with WWE. Jayne could be promoted to the main roster, adding contenders to the SmackDown women’s division, which is currently shuffling through the same set of matches and opponents.

Who is the current NXT Women’s Champion?

Jacy Jayne is the current NXT Women’s Champion.

Which NXT Superstar currently holds two titles?

Sol Ruca currently holds the Women’s NXT North American title and the WWE Speed title, joining Dominik Mysterio as the only double Champions in the promotion right now.
