WWE Survivor Series has shaped up to be a creatively strong and well-booked pay-per-view event.
WWE will present the 2025 edition of the Survivor Series event under the WarGames banner, as it has in recent years.
The show will take place on Saturday, November 29, at the Petro Park in San Diego, California. From a booking standpoint, WWE has done an exceptional job with strong storylines, an array of top stars, and interesting developments. Here are the top five creative choices for WWE Survivor Series WarGames this year.
5. Nikki Bella’s heel turn
In the buildup to the PLE, Nikki Bella returned to her roots and turned heel by attacking her friend, Stephanie Vaquer.
It was a shocking moment and set the tone for the upcoming WWE Women’s World title showdown at the Premium Live Event, proving to be a good creative booking.

4. Charlotte Flair’s turmoil
While Charlotte Flair was expected to be inserted into the WarGames match, WWE twisted the narrative to build more intrigue.
It saw The Queen bluntly refuse to team up with Rhea Ripley in the match, leaving fans shocked and wondering what would happen at Survivor Series.

The traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match had been abandoned in recent years in favor of the WarGames match.
