The Scottish Psychopath is stuck in England ahead of SummerSlam 2025!
‘The Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre is in danger of missing SummerSlam 2025 due to a bizarre travel hiccup. The Scottish Warrior revealed on social media that he was denied entry onto his flight to the U.S., citing identification issues that prevented him from returning stateside for the massive event.
McIntyre is scheduled to team with Logan Paul against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll in one of the show’s marquee tag matches.
“I can’t get back in America. They wouldn’t let me board my flight,” McIntyre said. “Look at the scenic countryside. Does that look like an American scenic countryside? No, I’m in England.”
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE sources are optimistic that the situation will be sorted in time for SummerSlam. However, fans are still concerned about Drew not making it in time for the PLE. For concerned fans, WWE’s parent company could help McIntyre arrive in time for SummerSlam.
TKO’s power could help Drew McIntyre

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio described the situation and revealed why he’s doubtful that McIntyre will not be able to make it to SummerSlam in time.
Meltzer noted how there are a lot of people with a lot of power in TKO, who will likely not want one of their top stars to not make it to the show where he is set to compete.
“I am sceptical that he won’t make it to SummerSlam. There are a lot of people with a lot of power in TKO and I don’t think they want one of their top stars who’s in a featured match to not make it to the show.
He was at the airport, he went to a wedding this weekend, he went to the airport to come home, and he showed his UK passport. I guess when he goes home and back, he does that all the time and for whatever reason, they told him because he’s a US citizen, his UK passport wouldn’t work, so they wouldn’t let him on the plane.
Meltzer added that WWE can also shift the match from Saturday to Sunday to help McIntyre, and pointed out that the distance from the UK to New York is not far, and Drew can make it in time for SummerSlam even if he leaves a day before.
I would find it very surprising [if he missed SummerSlam], the show is on Saturday. They could switch the match [to Sunday]. He’s got til Saturday to get here; it’s not like it’s a trip around the world. He’s going to MetLife Stadium, so it’s UK to New York, that’s not that far a flight. You could leave the day before and make it easy. I don’t know what’s going on with him any more than that.”
