Brock Lesnar has been on hiatus for a long time since SummerSlam 2023. It was previously reported that Brock Lesnar will be back in WWE at Royal Rumble 2024 to participate in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

However, Lesnar was pulled out from the match and was replaced by Bron Breakker following Miss Janel Grant’s sexual trafficking lawsuit filings against Vince McMahon. Although Lesnar was not directly mentioned, the Wall Street Journal revealed that it was Lesnar who got mentioned in the plaintiff.

It was also said that Lesnar’s plans on the road to WrestleMania are subjected to change and was pulled out from his planned appearances. He was originally said to work with Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber, but got scrapped. Lesnar was eventually taken off from the WWE 2K24 video game and from the introduction video. The Beast Incarnate also didn’t appear at WrestleMania 40.

It was reported that WWE is looking to erase Lesnar from WWE history. However, on a recent press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque addressed Brock Lesnar’s WWE status.

Triple H addresses Brock Lesnar’s status

At the WrestleMania 40 Night 1 post-show press conference, Bradon Thurston asked WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque about Brock Lesnar’s WWE status stating his Royal Rumble return talks.

Triple H replied that there was a talk with Lesnar about the Royal Rumble long ago, but now, Lesnar is home being himself. The King said that he will look where this leads to and says that the status is the same as before, he is not gone from WWE.

Triple H said,

“At one point there was a conversation with Brock about the Royal Rumble quite a long time ago. Right now Brock is home being Brock, and we’ll see where that leads to from here. The status is the same as it’s been before. Brock is not gone from WWE, he’s just home being Brock.”

At WWE Hall of Fame 2024, Paul Heyman mentioned Brock Lesnar’s name during his induction speech, which didn’t get cut through. Michael Cole on the other hand mentioned The Beast Incarnates name, while speaking about the former World Champions, during Cody Rhodes match.

All these give us hope that Brock Lesnar will be back in WWE someday, in the new Paul Levesque era.
