The 16-time WWE World Champion has one of the most impressive resumes

Considered by many as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time, John Cena is currently in his final year as he is set to retire at the end of 2025. Cena kicked off his farewell tour at the Raw Netflix debut in January and is looking to win his 17th World title in order to break the tie with Ric Flair and become the one and only 17-time WWE World Champion.

After kicking off his retirement tour, the 16-time WWE World Champion entered the men’s Royal Rumble match in order to punch his ticket to the grandest stage and headline WrestleMania 41. However, even after surviving till the end, he failed to win the match as he finished as a runner-up and was eliminated by Jey Uso.

The loss didn’t affect his determination as during the post-match presser he announced that main eventing Mania and winning the 17th title is still his goal and announced his entry into the 2025 men’s Elimination Chamber match, this time, Cena succeeded in his goal as he out CM Punk to sleep and won the match.

The G.O.A.T of pro wrestling battled the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the 41st edition of WrestleMania. However, Cena also did something highly unexpected before his final Mania clash, which has gone down in history as one of the most historic moments of recent times.

Ahead of his final Mania PLE, let us take a look at the WrestleMania record of the 16-time WWE World Champion.
