The final PLE of 2025 is just two weeks away.
WWE is currently gearing up to present the final main roster PLE of 2025: Survivor Series: WarGames. The promotion is looking to close out the year in style with the two marquee WarGames match, featuring some of the biggest names.
The 39th edition of Survivor Series will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The show will feature stars from the Raw and SmackDown brands.
The event is now just two weeks away, however WWE has only announced the two WarGames matches, that too is incomplete as the four teams in the two matches are still looking to complete their teams. A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided an update on the plans for the PLE.
Several match plans are still undecided for Survivor Series

In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that several match plans are still uncertain, and the current expectations based on recent WWE programming don’t match the internal discussions about the lineups.
Meltzer notes that only the men’s and women’s WarGames matches are the only bouts currently planned for the PLE. On the women’s side, the WarGames match will feature Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley. They will face the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), along with Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
Charlotte Flair, who was part ot team Ripley, has walked out, leaving them to look for two teammates before the PLE. While on the men’s side, the WarGames match will feature CM Punk, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), and Cody Rhodes. They will face the team of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul.
Two additional spots are still to be filled, with Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory initially being considered for those positions.
Meltzer pointed out that Paul will replace Seth Rollins, who is sidelined due to injury, while Rhodes took the spot originally planned for Jacob Fatu, with LA Knight or Jimmy Uso being potential candidates for the remaining babyface spots. Big Jim has already been confirmed for the match.
On the women’s side, earlier plans had AJ Lee on the babyface team and Becky Lynch on the heel team, but changes could occur depending on the outcome of the upcoming RAW in Madison Square Garden, which includes a match between Lynch and Maxxine Dupri.
Other matches likely for the PLE include Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella, though that bout is not yet confirmed. John Cena is also expected to appear at the event, but his match is still up in the air and may be clarified during the November 17 show of Raw.
Meltzer also noted that a possible match between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio had been considered but is no longer planned for the show. Furthermore, although a match between Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair was hinted at on SmackDown, it’s expected to take place at a later date rather than at this event.
With only four main roster shows, it remains to be seen how the final PLE card takes shape. Fans are now hyped up for the massive Raw at MSG coming Monday, as it might feature multiple surprises and major returns.
