The first-ever Sunday Night’s Main Event concluded this past Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia. The show saw Lil Yachty survive five minutes against Baron Corbin to secure the US title shot for Trick Williams, who managed to pin Corbin and regain the title.
On the other hand, Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab defeated Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley to win the six-woman tag team match. Meanwhile, Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes in the WrestleMania 42 rematch.
Fans are now waiting to see what the fallout show of SmackDown has in store, especially since it will emanate from Mexico City and has a stacked lineup of multiple major matches.

WWE will make its return to Mexico with its weekly shows during TripleMania 34 weekend, marking the company’s first visit to the country in 15 years. First up is the September 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Tonight’s SmackDown will emanate live from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The same venue will also host Night 2 of TripleMania as well as the September 14 edition of Raw.
CM Punk will defend the Undisputed title against Sami Zayn, while Interim WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green defends the title for the first time against Nia Jax, after getting medical clearance last week.
Two more title matches are set for the show, where Rey Fenix defends the AAA World Cruiserweight title against Ricky Saints, while AAA Tag Team Champions War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) battle Damian Priest & R-Truth with the title on the line.
Nikki Bella and Paige will settle their dispute inside the squared circle. The match was set up after Bella returned for the first time since SummerSlam to attack Paige, and after a heated confrontation, the two are now set for battle.
Additionally, Cody Rhodes is also confirmed to appear after suffering defeat in his WrestleMania 42 rematch against Randy Orton at last week’s Sunday Night’s Main Event.

Notably, Drew McIntyre has wrapped up his filming commitments and could return to WWE programming, similar to Joe Hendry.
On the other hand, with the show being held in Mexico, appearances from AAA stars are anticipated. Two major AAA titles are already being defended on the show, and with TripleMania starting after SmackDown, fans could expect some surprises.
