SmackDown emanates tonight in the aftermath of Clash in Italy.
The historic first Premium Live Event (PLE) in Italy, Clash in Italy, concluded on Sunday in Turin. From SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s title, with the help of Charlotte Flair, who aided Ripley in taking down B-Fab and Michin. After delivering the fallout show of Raw this past Monday, WWE is gearing up to deliver the fallout show of SmackDown tonight.
What’s in store for SmackDown?

Tonight’s fallout edition of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate live from the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy. Notably, this will be the final SmackDown show of this leg of the European tour, as WWE is set to return to the U.S. before heading back to Europe for live events and TV shows ahead of Night of Champions.
The 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournament, which kicked off on Raw this past Monday, will continue tonight, with two first-round matches. Oba Femi and Iyo Sky advanced in the first round matches in the King and Queen of the Ring tournament, respectively.
As noted, WWE will also address the fallout from the Clash in Italy, which saw Cody Rhodes defeat Gunther to retain the title, while Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to retain the title. On the other hand, Solo Sikoa, along with the MFTs, appeared after Roman Reigns’ win over Jacob Fatu, signalling that the Bloodline drama might resume soon.

Returns expected on tonight’s show

WWE has not announced any returns for tonight’s show. That said, fans have been waiting for Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre to make their return. Especially for Orton, who, after Cody retained the title, many fans are anticipating his return and resuming his feud with Rhodes.
