An elite list of WWE superstars etched lengthy title reigns in the year 2024.
The year 2024 was a phenomenon for WWE as it headed into a new direction under the leadership of Nick Khan and Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Not only that, this new era saw some of the exceptional WWE superstars become champions after years of hard work.
With the title in their grasp, these individuals cemented remarkable and lengthy championship reigns this year, which also proved to be a major boost to their respective careers. Here are the top five longest WWE title reigns of 2024:
5. LA Knight (118 days)
After his meteoric rise in 2023, LA Knight was laser-focused on ascending to the next level with a championship reign. The Megastar did just that by dethroning Logan Paul for the WWE United States title at SummerSlam. He vowed to be a fighting champion, unlike Logan, and defended his title on a regular basis. LA Knight held the title for an impressive 118 days until he lost it to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series.

4. Finn Balor & JD McDonagh (175 days)
After the introduction of the WWE World tag team titles on the RAW brand, all teams were gunning for an opportunity against then-champions The Miz and R-Truth. However, it was JD McDonagh and Finn Balor who eventually succeeded in defeating them for the titles. Although they held the titles for 175 days, Balor and McDonagh had very few title defences, and their reign came to an end in December at the hands of The War Raiders.
3. Liv Morgan ( 204 days*)
Liv Morgan was lost in the shuffle before her surprise return to WWE at the Royal Rumble 2024. After taking out her rival, Rhea Ripley, she set her sights on the WWE Women’s World title vacated by her. Morgan finally got her moment when she defeated Becky Lynch at WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE. Since then, Liv has proven herself to be a remarkable champion, holding the title for over 204 days and will end 2024 still the champion.

Rhodes embarked on a journey to become a fighting champion, defending the title on PLEs and house shows and outlasting top-tier stars like Kevin Owens, Logan Paul and AJ Styles. Rhodes will close the year as the champion with his reign crossing over 250+ days.
1. Roxanne Perez (256 days*)
Roxanne Perez fought her way towards an NXT Women’s title match, even to the point of channelling her anger and aggression and dethroned Lyra Valkyria to become the champion at NXT Stand and Deliver. Throughout the entire year, Perez dominated the women’s division, putting down top opponents like Jordynne Grace, Jaida Parker, Giulia and Lola Vice. In the process, Roxanne Perez became the longest-reigning champion of 2024, with her reign being over 256+ days.
