WWE SmackDown saw a major mishap

The November 7 episode of WWE SmackDown was filled with explosive action and major developments, but one match grabbed attention for an unexpected reason.

During a heated showdown between Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax, a brief wardrobe malfunction forced a temporary blackout on the live broadcast, momentarily cutting the feed before the action resumed.

The encounter, which took place just a week after Flair’s partner Alexa Bliss defeated Jax, was meant to be a statement match for The Queen. However, things didn’t go entirely as planned, both in the ring and behind the cameras.

Wardrobe malfunction leads to broadcast cut

Flair and Jax traded powerful blows from the opening bell, with Jax initially dominating with her raw strength.

As the match picked up pace, Flair began to rally with her signature chops and a series of explosive moves. But in the middle of her comeback, her gear gave way during a high-impact sequence, leading to an unplanned interruption in the live telecast.

WWE’s production team acted quickly, briefly cutting the feed while Flair adjusted her attire. When the broadcast resumed, both competitors were back in action, and the match continued as if nothing had happened.

Despite Flair’s best efforts, the bout ended in controversy when outside interference shifted the balance once again.

Lash Legend makes her shocking return

As Flair appeared to regain control, Lash Legend made a surprise return to SmackDown, attacking Alexa Bliss ringside.

The interference gave Jax the opening she needed to deliver the Annihilator to Flair for the win. Following the match, Jax and Legend officially confirmed their new partnership in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley.

Jax mocked the Women’s Tag Team Champions, sarcastically calling her alliance with Legend “a friendship of power and purpose.”

She reminded fans that she and Legend had previously clashed in NXT but now found common ground in their quest to dominate the women’s division. Legend added that the duo had their sights set on the top, declaring they were “done playing nice.”

Interestingly, before her match with Jax, Flair had a tense confrontation with Jade Cargill, the newly crowned WWE Women’s Champion.

The two exchanged heated words, hinting at a potential rivalry between two of WWE’s most dominant female athletes, a showdown fans would love to see.
