October 6 edition of WWE NXT brings many surprises for fans.
One of WWE NXT’s biggest nights of the year is about to arrive: Halloween Havoc 2026 on October 31. This edition will be even more special than usual, as WWE brings back its popular Halloween-themed Premium Live Event for the first time on Halloween itself.
The official date of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 is October 31, 2026, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Fan-favorite star Danhausen will be the host of the PLE.
Considering the developments taking place around the brand, the event would definitely be big for NXT’s championship division.

Kelani Jordan looking to defend her title at NXT Halloween Havoc
The first officially established championship match for Halloween Havoc will see NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan defend her title against Wren Sinclair.
Sinclair dramatically earned the opportunity on the October 6 edition of NXT. WWE held a 20-woman battle royal featuring competitors from NXT, Raw, SmackDown, TNA, AAA, and Evolve, with the winner earning a shot at Jordan’s championship at Halloween Havoc.
Although Kali Armstrong appeared to have won after eliminating Lizzy Rain, the match took a bizarre turn. A competitor dressed as AAA star Lady Shani entered the ring and eliminated Armstrong. She then removed the mask and revealed herself to be Wren Sinclair.
Sinclair had previously been suspended from NXT, making her surprise return even more significant. Her victory has now earned her a major opportunity against Jordan on October 31.
As for Jordan, she will also look to make her mark by holding onto the title she won at NXT Heatwave 2026, with former champion Roxanne Perez making a strong impression on the WWE main roster.
Grayson Waller vs Tony D’Angelo – NXT Championship
NXT Champion Grayson Waller successfully defended his title against EK Prosper on October 6 after Mason Rook was unable to compete. Following the match, WWE set up a No. 1 contender’s match between Tony D’Angelo and Myles Borne. The winner will challenge Waller at Halloween Havoc.
D’Angelo won the match on the October 13 edition of the show; he will now battle Waller in hopes of reclaiming the title.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic advancing to major finale at NXT Halloween Havoc 2026
Another ongoing storyline in WWE NXT is The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The tournament features teams from NXT, EVOLVE, and AAA, and the opening-round matches are taking place on the October 6 episode of NXT.
In the opening round on October 5, WWE NXT recently saw Hank & Tank advance, while BirthRight also progressed after changes to the tournament lineup. The quarterfinals are scheduled to continue on the upcoming editions of NXT. Zilla Fatu could be another big name in action on PLE following his rivalry with Lexis King.
Women’s North American Champion Zaria offered a title shot to Izzi Dame at Halloween Havoc, while Dame accepted the challenge; she rejected the title opportunity, making it a non-title singles match.
Meanwhile, Zilla Fatu and Charlie Dempsey are set to face each other, while Myles Borne battles Travion Heights, both in a “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” match. Borne and Heights will battle in a Weapons Wild match, while Fatu vs Dempsey match stipulation is yet to be announced. In another singles match confirmed for October 31, Naraku takes on Shiloh Hill.
