The June 14 episode of Raw served as the fallout show from SNME & Evolution 2!

The June 14 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, and featured the aftermath from last weekend. The episode served as the fallout show from SNME and Evolution 2.

A colossal five-man gauntlet match to decide the next challenger for Gunther’s World Heavyweight title was decided during the 07/14 show, along with multiple other matches and segments where the promotion confirmed four new matches for the upcoming SummerSlam 2025.

What Happened?

In the opening segment of the show, the newly crowned Women’s World Champion Naomi came out to celebrate her title win but was interrupted by Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. General Manager Adam Pearce then came out, announcing a triple-threat match between them for SummerSlam with the title on the line.

In the second match of the show, Lyra Valkyria battled Bayley in two out of three falls count match to determine the #1 Contender for the Women’s Intercontinental title. Valkyria defeated Bayley (2-1) to secure the spot and is now set to battle Becky Lynch for the title at the summer’s biggest event.

During the show, Michael Cole and Corey Graves also previewed the upcoming card, confirming that Tiffany Stratton will defend the Women’s Championship against the 2025 Queen of the Ring winner, Jade Cargill.

In the main event of the July 14 show, CM Punk defeated Bron Breakker to win the gauntlet match, which also featured Penta, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. With the win, the Second City Saint became the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

As announced, the winner will face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. The show also saw the return of Roman Reigns, who returned to aid Jey Uso and CM Punk from an ambush after the main event by Breakker and Bronson Reed.

When and where will SummerSlam 2025 take place?

SummerSlam is the next PLE after Evolution. The 2025 edition of the show is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on August 2 & 3, 2025, it will emanate live from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A.

Who is Roman Reigns going to face at SummerSlam 2025?

Roman Reigns made his return during the July 14 episode of WWE RAW, aiding Jey Uso and CM Punk from an ambush after the main event by Breakker and Bronson Reed. Reigns’ opponent for SummerSlam has not yet been announced.
