WWE is going to Europe ahead of WrestleMania 41

WWE has announced a massive three-week tour across Europe in March 2025, ahead of WrestleMania 41. The international tour includes multiple Raw and SmackDown episodes as well as Live events.

The promotion is also gearing up for its highly anticipated launch on Netflix which is scheduled for January 2025. The promotion announced earlier this year, a ten-year deal to sell its flagship weekly program, Monday Night Raw to the world’s leading entertainment service, for a staggering amount exceeding $5 billion USD.

As per the new deal, the streaming giant will be the exclusive home for all shows and specials outside the United States, including Raw, and SmackDown. Additionally, the streaming giant will stream the company’s Premium Live Events, such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble.

WWE will produce six editions of RAW and SmackDown from Europe in March 2025

As per the tour announcement the WWE will host six editions of Raw and SmackDown during the European tour. Apart from these shows, the promotion will also host six live events from the continent. The tour includes eleven different cities in eight countries across the continent.

The promotion usually airs international shows on tape delay in the United States. However, as per new insights this might change with the transition of the Red brand to Netflix in January.

During an episode of WrestleVotes Radio, there were discussions about the international shows’ availability on Netflix, with insights being shared regarding their airing. Netflix is open to the idea of live streaming the events as per the discussions.

“WWE did make some big news internationally this week, as they announced a three-week tour of the United Kingdom, directly in the middle of WrestleMania season, with six of those shows being TV episodes of both Raw and SmackDown.

We are told that, after speaking with Netflix sources, Netflix is absolutely open to the idea of broadcasting those Raw shows live as they happen.”

“Basically, we could be looking at some Monday afternoon Raw right in the middle of WrestleMania season. We’re told that WWE is considering the idea, no decision, one way or the other, but Netflix is on board for doing those shows live as they happen.

Of course, SmackDown will be on tape delay from USA Network. Nothing changing there, but to be determined if Netflix wants to host these shows live as it’s on the table.”

There is still no decision made regarding the subject but the promotion is considering the idea and the streaming giant is on board with the idea of airing the episodes live.
