WWE Raw is in its final few months before moving to Netflix!
WWE is preparing for its highly anticipated debut on Netflix which is scheduled for early 2025. In January 2024, the promotion announced a ten-year deal to sell its flagship weekly program, WWE Raw to the world’s leading entertainment service, for a staggering amount exceeding $5 billion USD.
The streaming giant will serve as the exclusive new home for the Red brand from January 2025 in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Latin America, and other territories, with more countries and regions expected to be added over time.
Ahead of its streaming debut let us look at the top five things that can happen when on WWE Monday Night Raw.
5. ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch returns
To kick off the streaming debut, ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch could make her return in the highly anticipated episode of the Red brand. Lynch’s last appearance was against Liv Morgan in May for the WWE Women’s World Championship.
Since then she has been absent from WWE programming, a potential return on a show of this magnitude would be a huge hit among fans.
Lynch is not just a multiple-time WWE Champion but is also one of the biggest stars in the Women’s division. Her return could boost the division and would be beneficial for the company.

4. CM Punk – Seth Rollins feud
WWE could focus on the historical feud and real-life dislike between the two biggest names in pro wrestling, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins. Punk and Rollins do not shy away from expressing their dislike for each other.
The promotion could start a storyline involving the two stars as their feud has a long historical context. Punk has also been absent from WWE programming since his brutal match against Drew McIntyre at the 2024 Bad Blood PLE.
On the other hand, Rollins is engaged in a feud with ‘Big’ Bronson Reed. A potential match between the two stars on the debut show of the Red brand would create a significant buzz among fans, even before the actual match takes place.
3. OG Bloodline segment
The OG Bloodline which consists of Jimmy Uso, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns, and Jey Uso recently suffered a loss at the hands of Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline. Even after the entry of Jey Uso into the fray, the faction was unable to neutralize the numbers game against Sikoa and Company.
Despite their loss, the three cousins are one of the biggest names in the current roster, and the fan’s chants during their segments and matches are proof of that.
The current storyline is also a huge hit among fans and a segment involving the three stars from the OG Bloodline in Raw’s debut on the streaming platform could add acutely to the scale of the event.

2. The Rock returns
‘The Final Boss’ Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson moved away from pro wrestling since he started his Hollywood career. However, his popularity since the transition has increased immensely as he is one of the biggest names in Hollywood and enjoys similar popularity in the WWE.
Johnson has made appearances since making it big in Hollywood, his recent appearance was at the end of WWE Bad Blood 2024. The WWE universe was shocked as The Final Boss appeared just after Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Sikoa’s Bloodline.
The Rock can make his return in the debut show, his return could also be used in the Samoan family saga that culminated in the recent clash between the OG Bloodline and the rogue Bloodline at Crown Jewel 2024.
1. John Cena kicks off his retirement tour
‘The GOAT’ of pro wrestling John Cena has announced his retirement at the end of 2025. The 16-time world champion has taken a break from full-time wrestling to focus on his acting career in Hollywood.
Cena is planning for his retirement tour next year, the debut show on Netflix might be one of the best chances for the promotion to kick off his tour.
Cena has also appeared in the promotional video for WrestleMania 41, the upcoming WrestleMania will be the last ever for the 16-time champ. The Netflix debut show would be a great opportunity for The GOAT of pro wrestling to start his retirement tour.
