Netflix unveils new slate of WWE programming ahead of 2025 move

Netflix will be the exclusive home for WWE from January 1
The Stamford-based promotion is ready for the highly-awaited transition to Netflix next month. Ahead of the move in January, Netflix has released a lineup of five exciting new shows that will be available for its subscribers from January 1.
The highly anticipated debut show of Monday Night Raw on the streaming platform is scheduled for January 6th at the Intruit Dome in Los Angeles, California. Three matches have been announced for the debut show so far.
In addition to regular programming, Netflix will become the exclusive home for all WWE shows, PLEs, and specials outside the U.S. The WWE Network will shut down on January 1, and all its exclusive content will move to Netflix.
The Stamford-based promotion is going all out for its debut PLE, featuring top stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes, along with a special appearance by hip-hop icon Travis Scott.
Netflix teased the launch of its partnership with WWE during their NFL broadcast on December 25. They also aired a promo that featured Becky Lynch among many top stars.
In addition, Netflix seems to have subtly revealed a lineup of five new WWE programs set to debut on the platform starting January 1.

Four out of the five shows primarily focus on older content, likely highlighting a Superstarâs career or showcasing memorable moments from Monday Night Raw or WWE in general.
These shows include âWWE Top 10â, âWWE Road to WrestleManiaâ, âWWE Raw Classicsâ, âWWE Superstar Profilesâ and âWWE Legends Profilesâ.
WWE Top 10: âMonday Night Raw hosts some of the biggest and best matches in WWE history, featuring Superstars John Cena, Triple H, Becky Lynch and more.â
WWE Raw Classics: âBig E hosts this collection of most-see Raw matches and moments, featuring WWE Superstars and Legends including CM Punk, Becky Lynch and Triple H.â
WWE Road to WrestleMania: âThe Road to WrestleMania goes through Raw, where WWEâs top Superstars raise the stakes in must-see matches and thrilling moments.â
WWE Superstar Profiles: âWWE Superstars steep inside the squared circle in pursuit of championships and glory in front of the WWE Universe.â
WWE Legends Profiles: âLegendary Superstars of WWE make history with unforgettable matches and moments inside the squared circle.â
As mentioned earlier, all five shows are set to debut on January 1st and will also be available in the United States.
All matches announced for Rawâs debut show
Womenâs World Champion Liv Morgan will defend her crown next month in the debut episode against Rhea Ripley. The two are involved in a fierce feud that has involved multiple clashes, attacks and mind games.
The second match for the show at the Intuit Dome is between âThe OTCâ Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The two will lock horns in a tribal combat match where the sacred Ula Fala necklace will be on the line. The match will decide who the ârealâ tribal chief is as the two stars for the first time will clash in a singles competition.
The third match which is also the main event of the debut show will feature the clash between CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a grudge match. Punk and Rollins are engaged in a feud that has showcased their deep hatred for each other.
