The Paris PLE is now just two days away!
The French crowd is gearing up to shake the WWE cameras once again as the promotion has arrived in the capital city to deliver the Clash in Paris PLE. The third installment of the Clash PLE will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, Paris, France.
Multiple superstars are set to compete at the show, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Jey Uso, and Becky Lynch, among others. This will also be WWE’s second PLE in France, following Backlash 2024, and the first to be held in the Paris metropolitan area.
The promotion has announced multiple matches for the PLE, including a Fatal Four-way match for the World Heavyweight title and a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match, among others.
However, according to a recent report, the promotion might add another match on the show during tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton might be set for a big rematch

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, WWE has mentioned the possibility of adding a match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre to this Sunday’s Clash in Paris PLE. At the very least, the match will take place before McIntyre faces WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Reports earlier have suggested McIntyre challenging Rhodes for the WWE title at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza, which is set for September 20.
McIntyre and Orton recently battled in a tag team match alongside Logan Paul and country star Jelly Roll, respectively. The team of McIntyre and Paul emerged victorious in the clash, while Orton pinned McIntyre in their singles match at the July edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
