NXT’s upcoming PLE schedule reportedly revealed ahead of WWE Heatwave 2025

The yet-to-be-announced show is being targeted for September!

As WWE NXT prepares for the 2025 edition of Heatwave, a new report has revealed promotional plans to hold a Premium Live Event for September.

According to a report from POST Wrestling, WWE NXT will travel to Fort Lauderdale for the 2025 edition of No Mercy on Saturday, September 27.

The report also notes that it will be the first major NXT event since April that won’t compete directly with an AEW pay-per-view, though the main roster’s Wrestlepalooza PLE will go head-to-head with AEW All Out on Saturday, September 20.

The yet-to-be-announced PLE will stream on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally. NXT PLEs will stay on NBC Universal’s streaming service until March 2026, while main roster PLEs will be available on ESPN platforms starting with Wrestlepalooza.

The 2024 edition of No Mercy took place on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. In the main event of the show, Ethan Page defeated Joe Hendry by pinfall to retain the NXT title.

The 2025 edition of NXT Heatwave will emanate from Massachusetts!

The 11th edition of WWE NXT Heatwave will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. The show will feature top stars and Champions from the developmental brand.

The show will be the first Heatwave to use the WWE logo solely, and will also be the first Heatwave event to be broadcast on Netflix. The 2025 edition is scheduled to go head-to-head with Forbidden Door, which is set to take place at The O2 Arena in London, England, on the same day.
