Paul Heyman vows to 'nuke' Roman Reigns' island of relevancy following his WWE return

Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return to spoil Paul Heyman’s plan!

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns made his long-anticipated return to WWE on the July 14, 2025, edition of Monday Night Raw. Reigns was absent from WWE programming since the Raw episode after WrestleMania 41.

The June 14 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, and featured the aftermath from last weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution 2. Reigns also returned with a new nickname of ‘OTC1‘ and settled an old score.

What Happened?

During the closing moments of the show, Roman Reigns made his return to aid CM Punk and Jey Uso, who were being attacked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed following Punk’s win over Breakker.

The OTC neutralized Bron and Reed, embraced Jey, and then stared down the retreating duo, accompanied by ‘The Oracel’ Paul Heyman. In his last appearance, Reigns tried to confront Paul Heyman, who betrayed him at WrestleMania 41 and aligned with Rollins.

However, Breakker attacked Reigns before he could get his hands on Rollins and Heyman and aligned with Rollins’ new faction. The return was a reminder that the OTC has kept receipts and will settle the score one by one.

Following his return, Reigns posted on his X (Twitter) handle, “More receipts to come! Good to be back.”

Paul Heyman sends a stern warning to Roman Reigns

After the show, Paul Heyman took to his X handle, tweeting that it was supposed to be Bron Breakker’s night and then vowed to nuke Reigns’ island of relevancy.

“Just landed home in New York. This was supposed to be @BronBreakkerWWE’s night. We are going to nuke the Island of Relevancy!”

Bronson Reed also didn’t take kindly to the Superman punches and Samoan drop, reminding Reigns that tsunamis destroy islands, hinting at battering the OTC with devastating tsunamis from the top rope.

“Just remember. Tsunamis destroy islands.” Bronson posted on his X handle.

Heyman was hyping up Breakker to face Gunther for the title at WWE SummerSlam and to take the lead in the absence of Seth Rollins. However, Reigns’ return and Jey’s help spoiled their plans. It will now be interesting to see how the Oracle retaliates.
