Top three possible directions for Karrion Kross & The New Day storyline: WWE

Kross and The Final Testament had been having strange interactions with The New Day lately.

The faction of Final Testament, comprising Karrion Kross, his wife Scarlett, Akam, and Rezar (The Authors of Pain), and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering is emerging to be a dominant and dark force in the WWE landscape. The stable has made their presence felt on all three WWE shows, RAW, SmackDown, and NXT in recent memory. Moreover, they have generated significant interest in one particular team on RAW, The New Day.

The New Day, which is currently represented by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods is having a few run-ins with Karrion Kross and his stable in backstage segments seen on RAW in the last few weeks. With things taking an interesting turn on WWE television programming, here are the three possible directions for this intriguing storyline:

3. The Final Testament lures The New Day to the dark side

The Final Testament has shown deep interest in The New Day and Karrion Kross’ cryptic conversations indicate that he might be encouraging them to take a new direction in the WWE career to be relevant. Of course, the team has not been the same since they lost out Big E to a career-threatening injury.

Moreover, there was a time when the trio reigned atop the tag team division. With The Final Testament looking to build its legacy as a stable, they could very well lure Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to the dark side to present their new side to the WWE Universe and build their own foundation as a group.

2. Xavier Woods gets corrupted

While Karrion Kross has had different interactions with both Kofi Kingston and Xavier, the storyline could further reveal that his faction might be interested in recruiting only one member of the team to their faction, that being Xavier Woods.

Woods, although achieving multiple accolades in his career, has never been into the spotlight like Kofi Kingston and Big E at different points in their career. Kross could exploit the past and corrupt Xavier Woods into betraying his long-time ally, Kofi Kingston, and join the ranks of The Final Testament in a massive shocker.

1. New Day recruits a new third member

The Final Testament’s run-ins with New Day could be revealed as the group making them their first targets upon arriving at RAW in the WWE Draft 2024 due to their history as one of the most successful teams in the history of WWE.

While Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods find themselves outnumbered by one member inside the ring against Kross and The Authors of Pain, this could lead to Kofi and Woods recruiting a new third member from the RAW roster such as Ricochet or Jey Uso to fight the dark forces of The Final Testament.
