AJ Lee wants to be a fighting Champion.

The March 9 episode of WWE Raw is set to take place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Penta, and Becky Lynch are listed as featured superstars.

Among the matches announced for the Red brand‘s show is a massive Gauntlet match, which came on the heels of the newly crowned Women’s Intercontinental Champion, AJ Lee, declaring that she intends to be an active, fighting champion, defending her title whenever she steps into the ring next.

Lyra Valkyria, Bayley, Iyo Sky, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, and Ivy Nile will battle it out in the gauntlet, with the winner earning a shot at the newly crowned champion. Let us now take a look at the top three possible finishes for the match.

3. Kabuki Warriors fallout

As noted, Asuka of the Kabuki Warriors tag team is part of the Gauntlet match. Reports have stated of a clash between Asuka and Kairi Sane, and the seeds of the fallout might be planted during the match.

Sane has been struggling with Asuka’s antics and constant bullying, and if she ends up costing Asuka in the match. Fans should expect Asuka to lash out again, and Sane to potentially fight back, which could end in the breakup of the Kabuki Warriors.

2. Becky Lynch runs interference

AJ Lee defeated Becky Lynch to capture the Women’s Intercontinental title at Elimination Chamber. Lynch has since been absent from programming and has been lashing out at everyone, especially at the referee Jessika Carr, who was officiating the match.

Reports have suggested a rematch between the two, and Lynch might turn up the heel antics during the match, likely running interference and even attacking Lee to send a message. Notably, Becky, via her X handle, has revealed that she will not be able to make it to Raw this week to stop the ‘illegal’ gauntlet match due to illness. However, this might be just a ruse from the multi-time Champion.

1. Bayley wins

Another potential outcome of the match might be the ‘Role Model’ Bayley picking up the win in the Gauntlet match. This outcome will see Bayley locking horns with fellow veteran and one of the pioneers of the division, AJ Lee.

Bayley has been criminally underutilized by WWE since last year, and a win that leads to a fan-favorite dream matchup would finally give her the spotlight many believe she deserves.
