The fallout show of WWE Raw contains two tag team matches.
Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to emanate live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A. The episode will serve as the fallout show from Backlash 2025, which culminated on May 10 in St. Louis.
The show will feature appearances from Jey Uso and CM Punk, along with two singles matches and two tag-team matches. The show will also address the developments that transpired at the PLE, while building towards the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Ahead of the fallout show of WWE Raw from Louisville, here are the top five surprises that might be in store for this week’s episode.
4. AJ Styles becomes the #1 Contender
Judgment Day’s Finn Balor will battle ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles. Balor is looking to take care of the Styles problem for his Judgment Day stablemate and Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio. The rift between the Judgment Day points towards a potential split in the future, which might begin with Styles winning tonight, setting him up for an IC title match against Dominik at SNME.

3. Goldberg confronts Gunther
Gunther registered a decisive and dominant win over Raw color commentator Pat McAfee. The Ring General showed relative constraint after the match and even showed respect to McAfee for putting up a good fight. However, Gunther may face a challenger of his own size and stature in Goldberg tonight, as the Hall of Famer is set for his retirement match, likely against Gunther due to their ongoing feud.
2. Bayley aids Lyra Valkyria
Despite retaining the Women’s IC title, Lyra Valkyria was brutally assaulted by Becky Lynch, who locked in the disarmer after the match. The attack signaled that the feud is likely far from over. Lynch will likely target Lyra once again tonight, however, there is a likelihood of Bayley making her return to aid the IC Champion. Bayley has been sidelined due to a backstage attack by Lynch during WrestleMania 41.
1. Sami Zayn rescues CM Punk
‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk will address the WWE Universe tonight for the first time since WrestleMania 41. Punk made his return last week, costing Seth Rollins the World title match against Jey Uso. The attack, coupled with the severe animosity between Rollins’ faction and Punk, will likely culminate in the Trifecta of Terror ambushing Punk.
However, Punk might be aided by Sami Zayn, who has been the recent target of the group, and might decide to rescue Punk. The two also somewhat joined forces to aid Jey Uso last week, as both of them intervened last week when the Trifecta of Terror was causing interference in the title match.
