Roman Reigns returns ahead of WarGames; John Cena battles CM Punk & other potential endings for WWE RAW tonight (November 17, 2025)

Tonight’s Monday Night Raw will amp up the WarGames build.

The November 17 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Multiple big names, including John Cena, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and Jey Uso, are advertised for the show. 

The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the show, including two more first-round matches in the tournament to decide John Cena’s final opponent. The show will also feature John Cena’s final Raw appearance, where he is set to wrestle.

With so many major storylines converging, tonight’s WWE RAW could end in several unforgettable ways. Here are three potential scenarios that could close out the night in truly spectacular fashion.

4. Charlotte Flair rejoins the team

During last week’s SmackDown, Charlotte Flair made it clear that she doesn’t trust Rhea Ripley and then walked out from the babyface team, which consists of Rhea, Iyo Sky, and Flair’s tag partner, Alexa Bliss. The exit has left team Ripley to find two teammates before the PLE, and they are currently at a numerical disadvantage against the team of Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane).

The opposing team already capitalized on the vulnerability last week, attacking Ripley & Co. backstage. The same scene might play out tonight, which could force Flair to put her differences aside and make the save, likely rejoining forces for WarGames.

3. Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella for Survivor Series

Nikki Bella is set to explain the shocking turn on Stephanie Vaquer this Monday. Bella, in a shocking turn of events, aided Vaquer to retain the title against Raquel Rodriguez, taking out Roxanne Perez. However, Bella then, out of nowhere, hit Vaquer with the title, turning heel in the process.

The Champion is likely going to retaliate and has made her intentions clear via X (Twitter) after last week’s attack. The segment will erupt into chaos, and WWE will likely announce a title match between the two for the upcoming Survivor Series.

2. Roman Reigns returns

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE programming since his loss to Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris. Reigns’ involvement in the babyface team for the men’s WarGames match. Fans are speculating his return tonight; they even started chanting “OTC” last week during SmackDown when Drew McIntyre joined the Vision team and started pouncing on the babyface team.

The OTC might return tonight to save the babyface team from another beatdown and join them in the upcoming WarGames match.

1. John Cena battles CM Punk

John Cena is set to wrestle in his final appearance on the Raw brand. Fans have been speculating on who his opponent might be tonight. Cena has teased that his final match is his favorite one, which has led many fans to believe that the final opponent might be CM Punk.

Punk has mentioned Cena after winning the World Heavyweight title, stating that if Cena wants to try his luck at becoming the 18-time World Champion, he is ready for that fight. On the other hand, after capturing the IC title, Cena might decide to challenge Punk. Additionally, Cena could also issue an open challenge, putting the IC title on the line.
