Roman Reigns has revived the Bloodline after Clash in Italy.

After defeating Jacob Fatu once again at Clash in Italy, World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns proved his dominance as the ‘Tribal Chief.’ Fatu, after the loss, was required to acknowledge Roman as his Tribal Chief.

On the fallout show of Raw, Fatu did exactly that as fans witnessed the rise of the Bloodline once again, with Fatu and the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) by his side. Let us now take a look at five potential opponents for Roman, who can challenge his dominance and maybe defeat him, despite the presence of the Bloodline.

5. Danhausen

Danhausen has transformed into a gold mine for WWE, as he has become one of the top merch sellers. Danhausen has also started to make in-ring appearances, apart from his backstage segments. While the idea of a clash between the two seems absurd.

However, the contrast between the two personalities and Danhausen’s bizarre antics will definitely make fans tune in for the feud. Although Danahusen might probably lose against Reigns, the matchup will be something fresh for a change and can also help establish Danahusen’s in-ring skill among the larger fanbase, who are unaware of his work on the indies.

4. Solo Sikoa

During the conclusion of Clash in Italy, Solo Sikoa, along with the MFTs (Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga), arrived in the crowd, with Roman exclaiming that they’re next. This tease left many fans believing that WWE is going to revive the Bloodline civil war storyline, and if it is indeed the plan, then a title showdown against Solo Sikoa will be the best conclusion.

The two can battle with the Ula Fala and the World title of the Tribal Chief on the line. However, WWE will have to be very careful with reusing the Bloodline storyline over and over, as the audience might start to tune out if not done right.

3. Chad Gable

Chad Gable, as the “Original” El Grande Americano, was involved in not only one of the best matches of the year against El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) but also one of WWE’s most compelling storylines. The feud captivated fans throughout its run and further proved that Gable is more than capable of being a headline attraction.

Gable has been in the WWE for almost a decade, and yet he has not held any major or even mid-card singles title, excluding the WWE Speed title, which is currently assigned to NXT. After such a successful feud, WWE should push Gable into the main event picture, and a technical masterclass against Roman will be the perfect path for him.

2. Cody Rhodes

Another name that Roman Reigns mentioned after his win in Italy was ‘QB1’ Cody Rhodes; the two even came face-to-face backstage in a fierce face-off.

WWE heavily teasing a rubber match between the two top names in the company has sparked major interest from fans, and the promotion might decide to book the trilogy bout after Clash in Italy. Notably, both are the current World Champions on Raw and SmackDown, respectively.

1. Oba Femi

During the WrestleMania 42 post-show, Oba Femi called out Roman Reigns, a callout which Reigns responded to shortly. Roman noted that Femi still needs to prove himself, while acknowledging his big win over Brock Lesnar at Mania.

While Femi lost to Lesnar at Clash in Italy, all signs and even reports point to a rubber match between the two, with Femi picking up the win. After the win, Femi could call out Roman, setting up their clash. Additionally, a recent report has stated that WWE is planning to book Roman vs Femi at WrestleMania 43.

Is WWE planning to revive the Bloodline storyline?

As of now, nothing is confirmed but WWE has been strongly hinting towards it, even teasing another feud between Roman’s Bloodline and Solo Sikoa’s MFTs.

What are WWE’s plans for Roman Reigns after Clash in Italy?

Per Ibou of Self Made, WWE’s long-term plans for Roman Reigns involve two options: Oba Femi and Seth Rollins. One of the matches is currently planned for SummerSlam, while the other is being considered for WrestleMania 43. However, the plans could change if The Rock decides to wrestle at Mania.
