Various new story arcs were teased on the latest episode of RAW

With the King and Queen of the Ring PLE in rearview and Clash at The Castle fast approaching, all eyes were on the Monday Night RAW episode.

The show did not disappoint either, as many new rivalries were teased. The WWE managed to give fans a sneak peek into the future with some mouth-watering clashes on the cards. Let’s take a look at all the storylines that were teased on the latest edition of the red brand.

6. Bron Breakker vs Ilja Dragunov vs Ricochet 

Bron Breakker has been a force to reckon with ever since his main roster debut. He has been obsessed with not being a part of the King of The Ring tournament. This obsession has led him on a path of destruction, leaving both Ilja Dragunov and Ricochet in the wake.

He followed up his last week’s backstage attack on the two men by interrupting their match on RAW this week. Next week, both Ricochet and Dragunov will be gunning for Breakker, and it promises to be a mayhem-filled ride. One that could leave Adam Pearce fuming, and a showdown between the trio inside the ropes could ensue.

5. Kofi Kingston vs Karion Kross

‘The Final Testament’ has found a new home on Monday nights and already started creating menace. If Karion Kross’s latest interaction with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston is anything to go by, we might have a new feud in the making.

The villainous Kross was seen trying to convince Woods to leave the New Day and mocking Kingston at the same time. The former WWE champion seemed none too pleased and looks set to lock horns with Kross in the future. Next week’s match between AOP and New Day could kickstart this rivalry.

4. Sheamus vs Ludwig Kaiser

Ludwig Kaiser cost Sheamus his King of the Ring match three weeks ago against Gunther. ‘The Celtic Warrior’ finally confronted the Imperium member after weeks of trash talk from him. After a war of words, an all-out brawl broke out between the two as authorities tried to separate them. 

This feud between Sheamus and Kaiser has been simmering for some time now and promises to be an absolute slobber knocker.

3. Chad Gable vs Otis

Chad Gable has become a menace ever since he turned heel. He has unleashed his wrath on his ‘Alpha Academy’ teammates, humiliating them at every turn. Otis inadvertently cost the former Olympian the Intercontinental championship at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. This week saw Otis take on Bronson Reed, but an impromptu wisdom class from Gable led to his defeat.

‘Shorty-G’ then decided to punish his ‘Prized Pupil’ with the belt but was interrupted first by Maxxine Dupri and then by Sami Zayn. Otis still sided with Gable and saved him from Zayn’s attack. However, it seems just a matter of time before the Alpha Academy implodes.

2. Damian Priest vs Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman has returned a man possessed and is hell-bent on taking down ‘The Judgement Day.’ The latest episode of the red brand saw him coming face to face with the World Heavyweight champion Damian Priest. The WWE teased a future program featuring both men, and the fans would definitely be up for it.

1. Damian Priest vs Gunther

The number of contenders for Damian Priest’s world title just keeps on piling up. He is scheduled to compete against Drew McIntyre at the upcoming Clash at The Castle PLE. But another challenger, Gunther, has already thrown his hat in the ring. The Ring General, who became ‘The King General’ recently, has a guaranteed championship opportunity at SummerSlam. He made it abundantly clear that he would be coming for Priest’s world title should he still be the champion by then.

All the above-teased storylines feel like a breath of fresh air. WWE might be onto something intriguing and the fans would be hoping to be entertained with all these arcs.
