Two intriguing matches are set for tonight’s episode
Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown features two intriguing matches along with the return of Solo Sikoa. Sikoa recently suffered defeat against Roman Reigns in a tribal combat match for the Ula Fala on the WWE Raw Netflix debut episode.
The 01/17 episode of the Blue brand will emanate live from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. Ahead of this week’s show in San Diego let us take a look at four predictions for the 01/17 episode.
4. New matches for SNME
The January 25 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event is just a week away and the promotion is gearing up for the event. Two title matches have been set for the event in San Antonio, Texas featuring stars from Monday Night Raw.
The promotion will likely announce new matches for next week’s SNME on tonight’s episode of the Blue brand. A title clash between Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship will likely be announced on tonight’s show.
The promotion might also announce a clash between Chelsea Green and Michin with Chelsea’s US title on the line. The clash would add another layer to the feud between the two stars.

3. Wyatt Sicks debut
The Wyatt Sicks faction which consists of Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross and is led by Uncle Howdy were locked in a feud with the Final Testament. The two factions collided in a six-man tag match last month.
However, their feud abruptly ended when the Wyatt Sicks factions were moved to the Blue brand during the transfer window. The faction will likely make their debut on tonight’s episode putting the whole roster on notice.

2. The Bloodline vs LA Knight & Andrade
LA Knight was attacked last week by Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga during his US title rematch against the champion Shinsuke Nakamura. This was not an isolated incident and Knight has had multiple run-ins with the Bloodline members.
Knight irked by last week’s interference will likely confront the Bloodline who in turn would attack the former US Champion again. Andrade too has had his share of problems with the Bloodline and he along with Apollo Crew teamed up to take on the Bloodline last month.
Andrade might come to the former champion’s aid once again to battle Fatu and Tonga if they chose to ambush Knight.
1. Roxanne Perez debuts
WWE Women’s World Champion Tiffany Stratton is set to defend her newly won title against Bayley on this week’s episode. While Bayley is looking to regain the title and rule the women’s division once again, the imminent threat of Roxanne Perez looms over the match.
Perez and Bayley were involved in a brawl on the recent edition of NXT where Bayley made an appearance during Perez’s segment. Perez recently lost the NXT Women’s title and it seems like the promotion wants her to debut on the main roster.
Perez will likely make her main roster debut on tonight’s show to interfere in the Women’s title match between Stratton and Bayley.
