The countdown to the 38th edition of SummerSlam has begun as WWE gears up for Summer’s biggest party. The 2025 edition of the show is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025.
The PLE will emanate live from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A. The promotion has announced multiple matches for the show, including a tag team match where Randy Orton is set to team up with country star and fellow Tennesee native, Jelly Roll.
Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul have teamed for SummerSlam
After their back-to-back encounters on July 11, SmackDown and the July 12 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. WWE has announced a tag team match where the team of Orton and Jelly Roll will battle the team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
Both teams have a lot of bad blood, which even spilled out last week when Jelly Roll hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was gate-crashed by Paul and McIntyre.
Orton and McIntyre started brawling while Logan continued humiliating and slapping Jelly, who fired back, putting Paul through the desk. They will now settle their differences inside the squared circle next month.
