Rhea Ripley is out of action due to injury
In a recent interview with Jazzy’s World, WWE star Rhea Ripley reflected on the challenges and obstacles faced by the female wrestlers in the Stamford-based promotion.
Ripley is out of action due to a recent injury following an attack by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on last month’s episode of WWE NXT. As per recent reports from the promotion the former champion will be out for an undisclosed period of time.
During the October 29 episode of NXT, Ripley was ambushed and left bleeding in the parking lot by Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and her enforcer, Raquel Rodriguez. As a result of the attack, Ripley suffered a fractured right orbital socket.
Ripley is involved in a feud with WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and was legitimately injured in April due to a backstage attack by Morgan. The feud retook a violent turn when Morgan and Raquel ambushed the former champion last month.

Rhea Ripley believes that female wrestlers are taken for granted in the WWE
During a backstage interaction with Jazzy’s World, Ripley discussed the hurdles that the women in WWE face on a daily basis. She also reflected on the division’s recent progress and fans’ changing perceptions.
The former champion stated, “Being taken for granted, I think. The women in WWE, we’ve come a very, very long way. We’ve overcome a lot of obstacles that were put in the way, and it’s been growing each and every year. I think that was the biggest obstacle just getting people to sort of take us seriously. “
“For the longest time, people joked about us being the toilet break, which is just plain and disrespectful, especially when the women go out there and we leave everything that we have out in the ring and we go just as hard as the men do so don’t don’t treat us with that disrespect so we’re making people realize that we can go just as hard as the men and if not harder.” She further added.
The women’s division in the WWE has faced numerous challenges and has fought back to claim its place on the roster. The push has resulted in the promotion putting them in major storylines and not just using them as ‘eye candy’.
