Roman Reigns is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of the modern era, who has been a part of some of the biggest moments of the show. He has been in WWE for over a decade and has been a top star of the company throughout his journey. He is a nine-time champion in WWE which involves six world championship reigns.
Reigns has been in the prime of his career for the last three and a half years as a heel and set a number of monumental records. He reached great milestones with his title reign, making it the fourth longest title reign of all time.
At WrestleMania 40 in the main event of the match, Roman Reigns defended his title against Cody Rhodes, where Roman lost his title to end his 1316 days reign. Roman was not seen then, however The Tribal Chief was caught in a non-WWE project.
Is Roman Reigns moving to Hollywood?
Lauren Keke Palmer, an actress and singer recently posted a photo shoot involving Roman Reigns on her Instagram story, to reveal that The Tribal Chief will be a part of the upcoming production. Roman Reigns was sitting on a throne surrounded by girls and a girl was standing behind Reigns with a championship title.
The backstage reports reveal that Roman is filming a “heist comedy” with Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, and Pete Davidson. It seems like Tribal Chief’s hiatus from the company is due to his Hollywood projects.
“Roman Reigns is filming a “heist comedy” with Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, and Pete Davidson. Last month I said to enjoy Roman Reigns while he’s still here, because his work has been TOO good for Hollywood to pass up.”
Wrestling with Freddie, Prinze Jr. earlier this year reported the same saying The Bloodline won’t be at full strength after WrestleMania 40, as Roman will be going to pursue his acting career.
“The Bloodline won’t be at full strength, and I think he’ll finally get over. Then Roman will go [to] Hollywood and make movies. I don’t know.”
Roman Reigns himself during his WWE return in 2020 said that he would be having a three to four years long run as the Universal Champion and would leave after that.
Since that’s being said, Roman’s WWE return date is unknown. It was previously said that Roman will be showing up for an event in Saudi Arabia and during SummerSlam 2024.
