Dominik Mysterio is our current IC Champion

Things are getting spicy in The Judgment Day camp, and no, we’re not just talking about their entrance gear. Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio have been side-eyeing each other more than once lately, and it’s got fans thinking whether we are about to witness a Judgment Day implosion.

Let’s face it, the group runs like a dream when everyone’s dripping in gold. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez just snagged the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on RAW and Dirty Dom walked out of WrestleMania 41 with the Intercontinental Championship. But poor Finn? He’s got nada. Zilch. No title, no glory, just a growing mountain of frustration.

And if history has taught us anything, it’s that a title-less Finn Balor is a ticking time bomb. Remember when jealousy cost him his bromance with Damian Priest? Yeah, that didn’t end well. So buckle up, folks, here are four signs that Finn’s about to pull the trigger and turn on Dominik Mysterio!

4. Dominik Mysterio pinned Finn Balor to win the IC championship

When friends become foes, it’s usually only a matter of time and in The Judgment Day, that clock might be ticking fast. Heading into the Fatal Four-Way at WrestleMania 41, the game plan was simple: keep the gold in the family, no matter who won. But plans like that come with hidden costs.

Dominik Mysterio got the job done, sure. He pinned Finn Balor to win the Intercontinental Championship. . That’s the kind of loss that doesn’t just bruise egos, it also cracks alliances.

Let’s be honest, Finn’s never handled being second-best very well. He spent an entire year throwing side-eyes and subtle jabs at Damian Priest when the spotlight moved away from him. Now it’s Dominik basking in that glow and Finn’s on the outside, watching it all unfold. If you’ve been watching long enough, you know what’s coming, The Prince doesn’t stay silent for long.

3. Dominik’s age & Finn’s experience will cause tensions

Finn Balor has begun to wear shirts that remind fans that he has been in WWE for almost a decade. He has wrestled twice as long and is currently The Judgment Day’s longest-tenured member.

Dominik was likewise viewed as the younger brother, and his thoughts were frequently mocked or dismissed. Despite the shift in group dynamics, Balor continues to treat Dominik like a child.

The phrase “When we listen to Finn, we win” demonstrated that just one person’s ideas mattered. He is already tired of other people’s ideas and this could ultimately lead to Finn stabbing Dominik in the back.

2. Finn looked surprised at JD McDonagh’s return

Following WrestleMania, RAW and SmackDown are typically where wrestlers make their comeback or debuts. This year’s first show delivered, with Rusev and Sami Zayn returning. Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Roxanne Perez also appeared.

JD McDonagh, another full-timer, returned from injury. The Irish Ace was injured during a championship match against the War Raiders. He had a punctured lung and damaged ribs.

McDonagh appeared toward the end of Dominik’s bout against Penta on RAW. To Finn Balor’s amazement, he helped his ally retain the Intercontinental Championship. The fact that his closest comrade returned and did not inform him might be the final straw in Balor’s treachery.

1. The Judgement Day always betrays someone down the line

The Judgment Day has times of prosperity on RAW, followed by periods of upheaval. The group’s existence is cyclical, with Finn Balor being the longest-tenured member. Every other original has been thrown out.

Balor may wish to excommunicate Dominik from the organization, but he has less supporters than the younger star. Everyone was on board when Edge, Ripley, and Priest were excluded from the group.

Since Dominik is having the same success as Balor as a tag champion, it’s just a matter of time before his envy compels his hand.
