Seth Rollins got injured at a significant point in his WWE career.
Seth Rollins was perhaps, amidst the biggest push of his WWE career since Paul Heyman joined his side and helped him win the main event of WrestleMania 41. The duo formed a faction with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker and were about to unleash their vision on the WWE landscape.
However, things took a turn at the July edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rollins suffered a legitimate knee injury during his match against LA Knight. With CCO Triple H also stating that the injury is not looking good, considering his history with knee injuries, here are five storylines that could be cancelled now:
5. Feud with CM Punk

One of Seth Rollins’ prime targets in WWE for a long time has been CM Punk. The Visionary and his faction have cost Punk multiple opportunities over the last few months.
With his injury, it could be time for WWE to move on from this feud and let Punk be involved in a different storyline, possibly going after the World Heavyweight title.
4. LA Knight
Seth Rollins’ injury occurred during his match against LA Knight at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Had that not happened, the program was expected to continue for another few weeks before SummerSlam. However, it looks like LA Knight will have a different opponent to feud against with Rollins out of the picture.
3. MITB Cash-in
At the 2025 Money in the Bank PLE, Seth Rollins captured the namesake briefcase and guaranteed himself a World title opportunity. Should the injury put him on the shelf for many months, WWE might put the contract up for grabs and strip The Revolutionary off his opportunity.
2. Rivalry with John Cena
During his time as Mr. Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins hinted at going after the current Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena. He even attempted to cash in on him at Night of Champions PLE.
Now, it seems that Cena could be stress-free as his program with Rollins might be dropped due to his knee injury.

The rumored storyline for Seth Rollins’ heading into WWE SummerSlam 2025 was against his former Shield brother, Roman Reigns.
