The June 30 show of RAW had an early start time of 6 PM ET!

The 11th edition of Night of Champions culminated on Saturday, and WWE then delivered the fallout show of Monday Night Raw, which featured the aftermath from the PLE. The June 30 show aired live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) defeated the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) to become the new World Tag Team Champions, while Rusev defeated Sheamus in a grueling match.

The Women’s IC title number one contender’s match between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria ended in a draw. CM Punk retaliated, attacking Seth Rollins and ending up shoving and warning Gunther.

LA Knight made his return, attacking Rollins. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker defeated the team of Penta and Sami Zayn in the main event.

However, Jey Uso saved Zayn and Penta from further attacks as Reed and Breakker were planning to send a message. During the June 30 show of WWE RAW, the promotion teased multiple storylines. Here we will take a look at the top three.

3. European El Grande Americano?

As Chad Gable has suffered an “undisclosed” injury, many were speculating that this means we also won’t be able to see El Grande Americano in action anymore. The same was asked by Adam Pearce to Gable during a backstage segment, to which Gable said that Americano keeps a busy schedule, but “you never know”.

However, in a later segment where Jackie Redmond was interviewing Ivy Nile, Americano appeared, much to Nile and the Creed Brothers’ surprise.

So are Gable and Americano really two different people? Well interestingly enough, Ludwig Kaiser has been spotted in the background of both this week and last week’s segment involving Gabl,e and he might have jumped on the opportunity to replace him as Americano.

2. CM Punk – LA Knight

As CM Punk attacked Seth Rollins, who was in the ring with Gunther, Rollins gouged Punk’s eyes, managing to break free. However, LA Knight was waiting nearby and emerged from the crowd, attacking Rollins. The two brawled through the food court, sparking chaos.

While Knight attacked Rollins to settle the score, Punk was irked by his presence as he confronted Knight in a backstage segment later, acknowledging Knight‘s problems with Rollins but asking him to get back in line. However, Knight fired back, stating that he can have him six days of the week, but at SNME, he is the line. A potential clash between the two stars will create iconic promo battles.

1. CM Punk – Gunther

As Seth Rollins got away from the claws of Punk, Gunther tried to stop Punk from leaving the ring, or at least wanted to talk to him. However, Punk was in no mood as he shoved the World Heavyweight Champion, who went crashing on the mat.

Punk then sent a warning asking him to stay away from his business. Punk has on multiple occasions expressed his desire to capture the World title again, and a feud with Gunther has been a long-time demand from fans.
