The May 30 episode of SmackDown served as the fallout show from SNME!

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown served as the fallout show from the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The fallout show of the Blue brand will air from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The show featured two Money in the Bank qualifying matches, where Naomi and Andrade won to secure the fifth spot in the women’s and men’s MITB ladder match. The 05/30 show also featured the return of Unidsputed WWE Champion John Cena, Bianca Belair, and Cody Rhodes.

NXT stars such as Je’von Evans and NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints also made appearances in the show. During the show, the promotion teased multiple storylines; here we take a look at the top three of them.

3. Zelina Vega – Giulia

During the show, a promo aired where Giulia stated that her goal is to be indisputable and impossible to deny. Giulia sent a warning to all her opponents, announcing that she would conquer everything. Shortly after, WWE Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega was walking backstage after her grueling match with Alba Fyre.

Vega ran into Giulia, who stated that she saw her, but she saw the title more. Vega smirked and left, while Giulia continued staring her down. Giulia has qualified for the women’s MITB ladder match, and this tease might be a hint about what’s to come in the future for the former NXT Champion.

2. LA Knight – Aleister Black

LA Knight cut a promo during the show for the upcoming Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, naming the opponents and stating that it was anybody’s game. He then locked eyes with Aleister Black, who reminded Knight that he was partially responsible for Knight’s MITB Qualifying win.

Black left as Knight smirked and sized him up, the two stars might collide in the future, and this backstage segment is likely the spark that will ignite their feud.

1. Damian Priest

Damian Priest cut a promo during the show, following his win over Drew McIntyre at SNME. Priest revealed that his goal now was the Championship, noting that the injuries from the steel cage match cost him the MITB opportunity, but he had his eye on a champion, Jacob Fatu. Priest lauded Fatu and his journey, but said he didn’t like the crew around him.

He then sent a warning to Fatu, stating that if his crew tried to stand in his way, they would meet the same fate. Priest started to leave, as Jacob Fatu arrived, and he came face to face with Priest. The two stars acknowledged each other before Fatu made his way for the MITB Qualifiers. A clash between the two titans has sparked a lot of buzz among fans.
