Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will set the final stage for WrestleMania 41 PLE!
The April 14 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will serve as the go-home show for the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ WrestleMania 41 and is set to emanate live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The show will feature the return of John Cena ahead of his clash against Cody Rhodes at the PLE.
Andre the Giant Battle Royal, as per tradition, will take place on the go-home show this week ahead of the ‘Grandest Stage’. A six-woman tag team match has been confirmed involving Zelina Vega, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance, who will face the team of Chelsea Green and her Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre & Piper Niven).
WWE Tag Team Champions Street Profits are also set to defend the title against MCMG on the go-home show. Here are the top five storylines that fans need to watch out for on the 04/18 episode of WWE SmackDown.
5. LA Knight vs Jacob Fatu
Last week’s show ended with Jacob Fatu ambushing LA Knight and standing tall with the United States title. The two stars are set to battle for the title at WrestleMania, and the attack was a message for Knight about what’s to come at the PLE. It would be interesting to see how Knight responds to the attack tonight.

4. WWE Women’s Championship
The storyline between WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair has turned violent since they exchanged personal jabs. Flair ambushed Stratton twice last week, once before the show and the second time after her win over Roxanne Perez. Ahead of their clash, the two stars will likely lock horns tonight to set the tone for the clash.
3. Randy Orton’s opponent
Randy Orton was originally set to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania, however, the match was cancelled due to Owens’ neck injury, and Orton currently has no official match for the PLE. The promotion will likely announce an opponent for him as multiple reports suggest that he will participate. WWE already kicked off a feud between Orton and Solo Sikoa last week and might announce a match between them for Mania.

1. John Cena returns
16-time WWE World Champion John Cena is set to make his return ahead of his clash against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title. This will be his fourth appearance since turning heel, as the last time they met, Rhodes emerged on top as he flatlined Cena. Fans will be on the edge of their seats as the two face off on the go-home show in Las Vegas.
