This week’s show will feature the Andre the Giant Battle Royal

The 41st edition of WrestleMania PLE is just around the corner, and the promotion has arrived in Las Vegas to first deliver the April 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which will set the tone for the PLE at the Allegiant Stadium on April 19 and 20.

The April 14 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to emanate live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The show will serve as the go-home show for the ‘Grandest Stage’ and stars will meet for the final time before their meeting at WrestleMania.

Ahead of his title clash with Cody Rhodes, where the Undisputed WWE title is on the line, John Cena is set to make an appearance on the go-home show. While Zelina Vega is set to team up with Kayden Carter & Katana Chance to battle Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre & Piper Niven) in a six-woman tag match.

WWE has also announced the return of Andre The Giant Battle Royal, as per recent tradition it will take place on the go-home show. The match originally used to take place at WrestleMania; however, for the last few years, it has been taking place on SmackDown before Mania.

Additionally, WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) will defend the titles against Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). MCMG defeated DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) to become the number one contenders.
