Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will emanate from Greenville.
After the explosive fallout from WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI, all eyes turn to Friday Night SmackDown. The blue brand’s fallout show will kick off from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
Multiple big names, including Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn, are being advertised for the show. Two singles matches and a US Title Open Challenge have been announced for the show.
The promotion has also announced an appearance from Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes following his successful title defense last Saturday. Ahead of the fallout show, here are the top four storylines to watch out for on tonight’s WWE SmackDown.
4. The new WWE Women’s Champion
After going undefeated for most of 2025, Tiffany Stratton not only suffered a one-sided beatdown but also lost the WWE Women’s title to Jade Cargill at last week’s SNME, ending her title reign at 302 days.
However, the lack of competition on the Blue brand could come back to haunt Cargill, much like it did for Stratton, who was forced to face the same opponents she had already defeated.
Call-ups from NXT might fix this problem, but it remains to be seen what’s next for Cargill, especially since Naomi and Bianca Belair are currently off air.

3. Make Women’s US title great again

The lack of stars on the Blue brand isn’t only hurting the WWE Women’s title, but also the Women’s United States title, which Giulia currently holds. Since her promotion from NXT, Guilia has barely been featured in good storylines.
She is currently on the verge of breaking Green’s record for the longest U.S. Title reign at 132 days, a milestone she can surpass if she successfully retains the title tonight.
Green is determined to stop Giulia in their clash, where the title is on the line tonight in Greenville. Can Chelsea Green save the Women’s US title and make it ‘great’ again, or will the hollow women’s division strike again?
2. What’s next for Drew McIntyre?

Drew McIntyre, in his attempt to regain the throne, battled Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title. However, McIntyre failed for the ninth consecutive time and lost to Rhodes.
This has irked many fans who are tired of witnessing the same outcome. The constant losses also affect Drew’s feud with the champions, as despite intense preparation, the result remains the same.
It remains to be seen whether WWE has any concrete plans for McIntyre or if he will once again be used in a title match only to come up short.
1. SNME aftermath
As mentioned, tonight’s episode of SmackDown will serve as the fallout show from the November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show saw Jade Cargill capture the WWE Women’s title, defeating Tiffany Stratton, while Cody Rhodes pinned Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE title.
Tonight’s show will address the fallout while kicking off the build towards the final PLE of 2025, Survivor Series. Additionally, GM Nick Aldis will also announce two first-round matches in the tournament to decide John Cena’s final opponent.
When and where will the November 7, 2025, episode of SmackDown take place?
