Two titles will be contested on 7/6 Raw.
The July 6 edition of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. WWE has announced two major title rematches for the show, which is anticipated to feature CM Punk’s return, as fans continue to wait for the former World Heavyweight Champion’s return.
Sami Zayn is set to defend the Undisputed title for the first time in a Night of Champions rematch against Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, The Street (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defend the WWE World Tag Team titles against The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory).
With SummerSlam and Saturday Night’s Main Event around the corner, let us now take a look at the top four storylines that might unravel on this Monday’s WWE Raw in Chicago.
4. Saturday Night’s Main Event

The 45th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on July 18 at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. WWE has already announced two matches during last week’s SmackDown.

3. CM Punk’s return

Multiple reports have hinted at CM Punk’s highly anticipated return for the July 6 show in Chicago, Punk’s hometown. Punk has been absent from WWE programming since April, and his last appearance was at Raw’s WrestleMania fallout show, where he engaged in a segment with Cody Rhodes.
The face-off teased a showdown between the two, and with Rhodes competing in the title rematch, fans are now speculating about the possibilities upon Punk‘s return.
2. Undisputed title rematch

Speaking of Cody Rhodes, as noted above, he will battle reigning Undisputed Champion Sami Zayn with the title on the line in a rematch from Night of Champions 2026, where Sami pinned Cody in a triple threat match also involving Gunther to capture the World title for the very first time.
While Sami Zayn, who captured the World title for the first time after 9 failed attempts, is looking to continue his historic reign, Rhodes is determined to get back on top and maybe have a major match at SummerSlam.
1. SummerSlam showdown

The 2026 edition of SummerSlam is set for early August, and WWE has announced three major title matches for the show. Liv Morgan will defend the Women’s World title for the first time against Iyo Sky, while Oba Femi will take on Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match.
