Tonight’s episode of the Blue Brand will emanate from Albany, New York.
The November 14 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate live from the MVP Arena in Albany, New York. Multiple big names, including Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Jacob Fatu, and Drew McIntyre, among others, are being advertised for the show.
The show will continue the build towards the final PLE of 2025, Survivor Series. WWE has already announced the two WarGames matches on this week’s Raw and will likely announce more matches for the show.
WWE has also announced multiple matches for the show, including the two first-round matches in the ‘Last Time Is Now Tournament’ to decide John Cena’s final opponent. Ahead of tonight’s show, here are the top four storylines to watch out for on tonight’s WWE SmackDown.
Jade Cargill vs B-Fab

The backstage confrontation between Jade Cargill and B-Fab during last week’s show in Greenville, South Carolina, sparked by B-Fab’s remarks about Cargill’s attitude, has now set up a match between the two. Cargill will compete for the first time since winning the WWE Women’s Championship.
Jade has displayed real intensity since turning heel, and a matchup with B-Fab gives her a chance to face a fresh opponent in an otherwise thin SmackDown women’s division, allowing her to break out of the cycle of repeatedly facing the same rivals. It remains to be seen how her title reign pans out, along with her heel turn.

Survivor Series build-up
The final PLE of 2025 is now just two weeks away, and the promotion has already announced the two men’s and women’s WarGames matches. Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will continue the build towards the show, likely announcing matches for the show.
Fans could expect champions from the Blue brand to be featured on the show. The team for both the men’s and women’s WarGames is still incomplete, and the drama might spill to SmackDown tonight.
The longest-reigning two-time Women’s US Champion
Aside from the fact that Giulia had already surpassed Chelsea Green’s record for the longest Women’s US Title reign by the time they faced each other last week, a detail the Creative team seemed to overlook, fans remain excited after Green won the championship back for a second time.
Green has done some of her best work during her last reign, and fans expect the same from her. Although the lack of competition on the Blue brand could haunt her, NXT call-ups can fill the void, making the Blue brand more engaging.

John Cena’s final match tournament

Two first-round matches to decide John Cena‘s final opponent have already taken place on this week’s Raw, and GM Nick Aldis announced two more for tonight. In the third first-round matchup, Jey Uso will face The Miz, while the second match will feature LA Knight against a mystery opponent that Aldis chose to keep secret, which will be revealed during the show.
The match has sparked intrigue from fans on who might be the secret opponent for LA Knight, and fans would have to tune in tonight to find out. Wild theories and speculations have been circulating on social media, all of which will likely continue to grow until the show.
