Roman Reigns returns ahead of MITB on Raw.
Before the trip to New Orleans for Money in the Bank, WWE will deliver the go-home shows of Raw and SmackDown. First up is the October 5 edition of Monday Night Raw, which will take place live from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
WWE has announced multiple matches and segments for the show. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will return on the show for the first time since his title defense against Penta in Mexico City, where LA Knight attacked him post-match, setting up their clash for MITB this weekend.
Meanwhile, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan will battle in a number one contenders match, with the winner securing a title shot against reigning Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Money in the Bank.
On the other hand, after Lola Vice’s win over Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez attacked Vice, and Sol Ruca came to the aid of Vice but fell prey to the numbers game. Vice and Ruca will now team up to take on the Judgment Day members in a tag team match next week.
Additionally, Rey Fenix will take on Ethan Page after their confrontation backstage this week. While the segment mentioned Fenix wanting to defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship on Raw, WWE’s official graphic doesn’t mention Fenix putting the title on the line for the clash.
