Texas will host tonight’s SmackDown.
In the aftermath of WrestleMania 42, WWE will deliver the fallout show of WWE SmackDown from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Similar to this week’s Raw, the Blue brand’s show carries massive anticipation, with even the USA Network urging fans not to miss the show.
WrestleMania concluded last weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Cody Rhodes retaining the Undisputed title against Randy Orton. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to capture the WWE Women’s title, and Trick Williams toppled Sami Zayn to win the US title.
Additionally, the PLE also saw some major returns, one of which was former Divas Champion Paige, who returned to replace Nikki Bella and tag along with Brie Bella in the Fatal Four-way match for Women’s Tag Team titles.
Brie and Paige outlast the competition to capture the Tag Team titles. After the win, Paige is set to appear on the show. Paige took to social media to confirm the appearance, sharing a promotional graphic alongside her weekend schedule. The other half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella, is also anticipated to appear alongside Paige.
Fans are also waiting to receive an update on Cody Rhodes, who suffered an orbital injury during the Mania match, while he made an appearance on Raw, engaging in a promo with CM Punk. The swollen, shut, and blackened eye raised even more concerns among fans.
