John Cena’s final appearance in Dublin comes this Friday!
The August 22 episode of WWE SmackDown is set to air live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. This will be the first show of WWE in Europe ahead of Clash in Paris. The promotion has also planned episodes of Raw and live shows on the continent.
The show will continue the build towards Clash in Paris on this week’s show. Multiple top names, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, and LA Knight, are being advertised for the show.

The 17-time WWE World Champion, John Cena, is set to make an appearance on this week’s Friday Night SmackDown in Dublin.
This follows his appearance on the August 8 show, where he was challenged to a match at Clash in Paris, a challenge he accepted. Additionally, this will be Cena’s final appearance in Ireland as dates on his retirement tour run out.
Furthermore, Aleister Black will battle R-Truth in a singles match, following their heated exchange in a backstage segment this week.
On the other hand, Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) will take on Melo Don’t Miz (The Miz & Carmelo Hayes). The match was set up following a backstage segment where Hayes and Miz interrupted MCMG, who were talking to GM Nick Aldis. Hayes wanted to ask for a US title shot.
After one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss, defeated Piper Niven last week, she, along with her tag team partner Charlotte Flair, was ambushed by Chelsea Green and The Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre). Flair is now out for revenge as she faces Niven one-on-one this week.
Additionally, following the backstage segment, The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) will battle any of the two members of Solo Sikoa’s MFTs.
